So I installed Mojave on my PC and since I have a GTX 970 as my GPU there's not much I can do right now in terms of GPU acceleration as the web drivers don't support my GPU so I figured I'd just use my iGPU since it's supposed to work natively in Mac OS but it's works about as good as my GTX 970 does. I assume I have to enable it somehow to use acceleration right? Also my iGPU only shows up in Mac OS as having 7MB of video memory and it should be set to 1GB.

Is there something I have to do to get HD4000 to have acceleration?

@kilobytez95,

Install Lilu + WhatEverGreen.

If it does not resolve the issue using WEG defaults then define Device Properties for the IGPU in your config.plist.

See this guide for more info :-

If you r going to to leave the GTX 970 in the system (eg to run in windows) the you can disable it the ACPI.

See the linked guide in this post for info on that :-

Cheers
Jay
