How Long to Load to the Installer Screen?

Hey everyone, I'm new around here! I read about this years ago and thought it would be cool to try out on my laptop. I have the unibeast drive working no problem, but the apple logo keeps up for ever! And the circle keeps spinning at the bottom. Is this something I am just supposed to let it do until it gets to the installer page? Or is there something else I have to try. Thanks for your time.

New development. After I let it sit there, the whole pc shuts down, is this a bad sign that this is incompatable?

Well since you haven't told us anything at all about your hardware (except its a laptop), how are we supposed to determine if its incompatible or not?

Still not enough info (core i5 could be gen1, which then would need separate discrete graphics). Need complete information. Why hold back information?
