Now take a screen shot of the audio output options with headphones or PC speakers plugged in.
Turn off your wifi and BT temporarily and then test audio outputs.

Hi guys thanks for the help I have now managed to get the sound working. I had to redo the boot disk and everything. Through the audio jack, but cannot get it to go through the HDMI port.

Is there something else I need to do?

I have now managed to get the sound working.

Great to hear that. Before you make any attempts at HDMI audio save a backup copy of your EFI folder that works now. Put it someplace safe like another computer and also on the USB boot drive in the EFI backups folder. That way you can always go back to it.

After that start a new thread in Audio to focus on your HDMI.

Thanks, I have done the backup. I must be honest I have gone through the HDMI guide and I never know where to start. can you point me in the right direction?
