Been having stability issues with this old build recently but was still functional. However, today I got this kernel panic upon startup. Any help from the experts would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Bob Gadd

Seems to be a problem with a third party kext from digidesign.
You might try booting in safe mode and then update or remove the problem kext.

Thank you Pilgrim. Avid’s 11 rack driver was the culprit. Once I swapped out my Avid keyboard with an Apple, I was able to boot to safe mode and did an uninstall of the software ,which froze it during install and then threw the kernel panic. For some reason the computer, when using the Icon keyboard, wasn’t seeing the shift key. Anyway all is well….so far.
Thank you again for your help,
Bob
