Hey, so not sure if it's due to ignorance but I've looked for a few days and haven't been able to find a solution to this. Figured the best solution would be to post here and see if anyone here could lend some insight.

My biggest issue is it not benchmarking anywhere near where it should be. I ran Geekbench before it was OC'd and I was hitting around 13k, but once I oc'd its way less than half.

In System Info on OSX the CPU is coming up as 4.81GHz

Running OSX 10.8
i7 2700k
MB GA-Z68X-UD7-B3
GTX580
16gb ram

I'll include what I've done in the BIOS:

Let me know if you need anymore information.

Thanks

You need a SSDT for this. Go and hit the SSDT forum up. You will not get a decent bench until you submit to the SSDT gods. MacOs is not able to utilise your CPU past 1.6GHz until you do.

Good luck in your quest.

Not sure what happend but I tried to boot up today and was having issues booting.

Changed some stuff and really couldn't get a boot up anymore so went back to it without being overclocked.

Do I have to set up the SSDT before I do any overclocking settings? I tried to find more information on it but found it a bit over my head. Any resources you can point me to would be greatly appreciated
