Hey all!
I have a old pc that I used to run High Sierra on using clover. I had 2560x1440 working without problems with the exact same hardware.
So now on Big Sur 11.5 using opencore I only get 1920x1080. I tried to come to a conclusion as to why but I can't find out what the cause is, and I've spent hours on this. Tried changing the platform id to ones I found using Hackintool but just ended up not booting. Read through the guides and also tried to make sense out of Whatevergreens documentation.
I also read somewhere that hdmi only supports up to 1080 but how come it worked on high sierra then?
Heres my hw:
motherboard: Gigabyte Z87X-D3H with hd4600 gfx. Shows up as Iris Pro 1536 MB in "about this mac".
cpu: Intel Core i7-4770K
Monitor: LG 27'' UHD 27UL850 3840x2160
Thanks for any suggestions!
