Hi,

I'm trying to install Catalina 10.15.6 on my new LG GRAM 17 which powered by i7 1065G7 CPU.
But it always stuck at this line and never make it to the installer. It's been 5 days already since I started trying to install on this laptop.

[EB|#LOG:EXITBS:START]

Please check attachment for full errors.

I'm using OpenCore 0.6.0 bootloader. (Clover also stuck at this line with several ++++ after)
And I followed the guide for Ice Lake laptop from opencore here. https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/config-laptop.plist/icelake.html#starting-point

My Laptop Spec
  • Brand: LG
  • Model: 17Z90N
  • CPU: Intel Core i7 1065G7 (Ice Lake)
  • RAM: 16GB
  • Graphic: Intel Iris Plus Graphics
  • Storage: 512GB SAMSUNG MZVLB512HAJQ-00000
  • Bootloader: OpenCore 0.6.0
I managed to setup some items in Bios (but not all).
From the guide (https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore...laptop.plist/icelake.html#intel-bios-settings)
what I managed to do are

DISABLE
- Fast boot: disabled
- Secure Boot: disabled
- Serial/COM port: ???
- Parallel Port: ???
- VT-d: disabled
- CSM: disabled
- Thunderbolt: ???
- Intel SGX: disabled
- Intel Platform Trust: ???
- CFG Lock: disabled

ENABLE
- VT-x: enabled
- Above 4G decoding: ???
- Hyper-Threading: enabled
- Execute Disable Bit: ???
- EHCU/XHCI Hand-off: ???
- DVMT Pre-Allocated: 64MB
- SATA Mode: AHCI

Remark, all entries with ??? are what I have no idea where are they.
Thanks to suzuke for helping me locate some major bios settings from this thread https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...ock-n-vtd-option-in-bios.301945/#post-2160484
If any of you have done hackintosh on LG GRAM before, any help for the missing bios items will be appreciated.

Is it possible if this cause by hardware problem like memory stick or nvme SSD ?

I've attached the photo and current EFI folder to the thread, please help.

Review the "stuck on EndRandomSeed" section and also the one immediately following.

I think it's probably to do with SetupVirtualMap, or maybe the other one with EnableWriteUnprotector, RebuildAppleMemoryMap and SyncRuntimePermissions.

UPDATE: I have gotten Big Sur Installed Finally!!! Here is my github: https://github.com/AskDavis/LG-Gram-17Z90N All files are there that i used! its not 100% but its a start! Please add issues or anything else you might run into that i havent yet!
