Hanging on the apple black load screen at 90% and stops

Hi, I made it all the way to step 4 number 13 (Complete macOS installation. The system will automatically reboot.) Now my computer is hanging on the black load screen with an apple and a load bar. the load bar hits 90% and stops. My build specks are
Gigabyte GA-Z270MX-Gaming 5, Core i7-7700K, EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 SC. any ideas?
