Hello again people.
Today I'm gonna explain how to get a fully functional OSX Lion 10.7.3 working system.
You need the next hardware;
Okay, let's rock this guide.
First Steps
-First of all you must use ONLY 4Gb of ram, get off the rest to make properly install.
-Disconnect all the exceeding hardware, like secondary HDD's, PCI/PCI Ex controllers etc. You must get nude!
-Be sure your main HDD is connected to SATA 2 Intel ICH ports, not in Marvell or whatever the brand is.
Okay, let's get to the Bios settings.
Bios Settings
1- AHCI Sata Mode
2- HPET function in 64 Bits
3- S3 suspend MODE
That's all for now, let's get to the important quest.
Mac OSX Lion 10.7.3
Now we will be using the Unibeast USB Install Guide.
The complicated part is that if you're coming directly from Windows, you need a Mac OS previous install. You can use the Snow Leopard Tonymac's Guide to get a basic MacOSX install to make the necessary USB Lion thumb install.
Okay, you're now in OSX Lion system. VGA's and Ethernet working OOTB, no sound plus USB3 not recognised. No prob buddy!
Get to the Download section of Tony mac and grab the following items:
1- Kext Utility(grab it from Multibeast Snow Leopard)
2- Multibeast for Lion ONLY!
That's all for now. Now let's go to the post installation state.
Post Installation
Open Multibeast for Lion and select the following options to get the system working properly.
I will put a screenshot when i can, because i'm not writing from my mac
1- First of all, download the DSDT for Z68X-UD4-B3 bios F9 (you must update to F9 bios from bios directly or from windows). Put it in the Desktop and rename it to DSDT.aml
2- Open Multibeast and selec the following options;
a. User DSDT. When it finishes, open Kext Utility to rebuild permissions and cache and REBOOT. Get rid of your Pendrive, because chimera is already installed and you can boot from your HDD/SSD.
b. Again, open MultiBeast and select Drivers&Bootloaders/Kext&enablers/Audio/ALC889 and AppleHDArollback.When it finishes, open Kext Utility to rebuild permissions and cache and REBOOT
c. Again, open MultiBeast and select 3rd Party sata or Esata, depends if you want hot plug or not, doesn't matter. Select iohcblockinjector, USB3 renesas.When it finishes, open Kext Utility to rebuild permissions and cache and REBOOT
d.Again, open MultiBeast and select Oficial Realtek gigabit driver in Network.When it finishes, open Kext Utility to rebuild permissions, cache and REBOOT.
Now, if all went good, now you have a fully 10.7.0 working Lion installation.
What? You want to upgrade to 10.7.3?
There's NO PROBLEM with upgrading your system, upgrade to 10.7.3(1.36gb patch) using Lion upgrade system then REBOOT.
Known Issues
When the 10.7.3 update is finished, your audio and probably your network aren't working at all. To FIX it just reinstall Realtek Gigabit kext and ONLY AppleHDA Rollback, open Kext Utility and reboot.
Now you can use your fully functional MacOSX 10.7.3 Lion at all
