you will probably need AsusNBFnKeys.kext (do a search for it) and the patches that come with it for your DSDT

You forgot to attach ioreg.
But I can already see that you neglected to rename GFX0->IGPU.
As per post #1, SSDT-PNLF.aml assumes this essential rename.

Does the guide in the op work with an Asus laptop? I had working brightness keys until some days ago, without any update they don't work anymore and I don't understand why, probably the issue occured after permissions repair...

Someone can help me?
