Got Audio Working - But it's Stereo not 5.1

Hi everyone,

I managed to get my HDMI audio working finally! I used the patches for HD4000 and now it works. But it's stereo, not 5.1.

I have tried multiple 5.1 sources using Plex and VLC etc. but it's all stereo sound. I have searched the forums for hours and it seems like a lot of people solve the problem and then disappear wthout explaining how

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Surround Sound in OS X requires, verify the following:
1. DD/DTS source (movies, iTunes/AC3, etc.)
2. DD/DTS player (Plex, XBMC, Boxee, VLC)
3. DD/DTS sound system.
