Was running into RAM issues with my ASUS Z690 Proart Creator-WIFI so decided to upgrade the MOBO...

macOS Monterey 12.3
Intel i7-12700k
Gigabyte Z790 UD AC
RX 6800 XT

LAN:
  1. Realtek® 2.5GbE LAN chip (2.5 Gbps/1 Gbps/100 Mbps)

Using LucyRTL8125Ethernet.kext for Realtek RTL8125B but cannot get my LAN working.

Status within System Preferences > Network is cycling between "Not Connected" and "Cable Unplugged."

LAN works on Windows drive.

Any ideas why? I believe Realtek RTL8125B should be supported with appropriate kext.

I am showing BSD Device name as en0.

Tried clearing /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration, reinstalling kext, rebuilding kext cache.

Thinking of just installing a Fenvi FV-T919 PCIe in order to get connectivity.

Thanks in advance.

After digging through the interwebs I found this: https://github.com/Mieze/RTL8111_driver_for_OS_X/issues/73

and specifically:
Update: got some help on another forum, and apparently I had DisableIoMapper set to false which caused this issue to occur. After enabling it, ethernet started working as expected.
After setting DisableIoMapper to true in config.plist I was able to connect.

Hope that helps someone
