I'm running Mojave without issues. The specs of my machine are in my profile.

After upgrade BIOS to F12 version, Mojave does not boot.


BIOS SETTINGS

1. Save & Exit → Load Optimized Defaults
2. BIOS → Fast Boot : Disabled
3. BIOS → LAN PXE Boot Option ROM : Disabled
4. BIOS → Storage Boot Option Control : UEFI
5. Peripherals → Trusted Computing → Security Device Support : Disable
6. Peripherals → Network Stack Configuration → Network Stack : Disabled
7. Peripherals → USB Configuration → Legacy USB Support : Auto
8. Peripherals → USB Configuration → XHCI Hand-off : Enabled
9. Chipset → Vt-d : Disabled
10. Chipset → Wake on LAN Enable : Disabled
11. Chipset → IOAPIC 24-119 Entries : Enabled

I found on different option in this BIOS to Thunderbolt configure:
GPIO3 FORCE POWER - NOW WE HAVE 3 OPTIONS - DISABLE; BOOT ONCE, PRE LOAD ACL

I try all 3 but Mac OS not boot completely.

Fortunately, I have backup old BIOS, and the only solution is to downgrade to old BIOS and system is working!

FIX for boot hangs after BIOS update (ACPI PATCH)

This is an ACPI Patch for the people who update to the last bios and can't boot. My board is the MSI B360A-Pro and has the latest bios 7B22v27. First add the patch (the blue line from the picture) to clover config, then apply the Bios update. To easily add the patch using terminal, read post #48

Sad to say it didn't work for me on the Gigabyte Z370 AORUS Ultra Gaming - rev. 1.0. Good job I made a backup of the bios before I started as I had to revert to the old version.
