Would love to see full support for the ga-p55a-ud3.
This is the MoBo.
Its price to performance ratio is standalone.
It out performs my X58 and it is only Dual channel.
At present the Tonymac CD won't boot with this board.

Re: GA-P55A-UD3 Full suport

That's odd. Many others, including myself, had no issues with Tony's BootCD and installing Hackintosh on that board. I'm a hackintosh newbie, first time ever trying to install hackintosh and I got it working on my first try.

Make sure you are using a SATA DVD drive, as IDE drive won't work.

Tony even has a custom DSDT for that board in his DSDT database.

I used the older Boot CD as the Multi-beast Boot CD was not out yet. You might want to try both to get it working for you. The Multi-beast Boot CD should be easier.

Re: GA-P55A-UD3 Full suport

You are right. Thanks for your post. It turns out it was my OSX retail disc that was causing the error.

Strike my last. It was the DVD-RW that was the cause of the error/s.

I can also confirm support of this board.
I have not tried the USB3 or any of the fast sata ports.
Also my audio is currently via VoodoHDA, but I think this is my problem not having tried all of the combinations of other drivers available.

If you would like audio using something other than VooDoo, here's a topic that will get that working for you. I'm using the same board as you and it's up and running without using the VooDoo kext.

USB3.0 isn't yet support so there won't be any speed difference yet (so I'm told) :(

Glad your system is up and running though!
