G4 graphite case mod, front panel?

hey guys, im modding my old g4 case into a hackintosh, i have no idea how to wire up the power button to the MB are the pinouts the same or will i have to solder?

welcome to to Tony´s site!
First of we need to know what model G4 PowerMac You´ve got, different models have different front-panels.

take a look at the pictures for my build if it's a graphite powermac G4, they may help.

One thing I can suggest is if your front panel is the same as mine use a dremel to cut the circuit traces to the power and reset switches and power LED. then solder wires onto them to connect to your motherboard.

Regarding the power switch, it is pretty easy if it is like mine. I followed minihacks diirections.
