First build - EFI and Clover

Good day All,

I have the following build and this will be my first attempt at a Hackintosh. I also have a couple of questions before I start…

- Gigabyte Z370M-D3H M-ATX Intel 8th Generation DDR4 Motherboard

Intel Z370 Express Chipset
Integrated Graphics Processor: Intel HD Graphics, 1 x DVI-D, 1 x HDMI
Realtek ALC892 codec Audio
Intel GbE LAN chip
1 x USB type C 3.1 Gen 1
6 x USB 3.1 Gen 1​

- Gigabyte Radeon RX 560 Gaming OC 4GB Graphics Card
- Intel 8th Gen Core i7-8700K Coffee Lake up to 4.70GHz 12MB Cache
- Antec C40 CPU Cooler
- Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 16GB (2 x 8GB) 2666MHz DDR4 Memory
- Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD for OS
- Western Digital Blue WD10EZEX 1TB HDD for data
- TP-LINK TL-WN881ND 300Mbps PCI Express WiFi Adapter
- Antec VP500P 500W 80+ Power Supply

My questions are:

1. My usb drive is set up as per the guide. If I want to put Clover on the usb drive do I need to go through the package install process and select the usb drive as installation destination?

2. I’ve seen through reading a lot that you can delete the folders in the EFI folder and copy your own according to your build. With the above build in mind what would my EFI folder look like and what do I need in there?

3. I cannot see in the guides how you start Clover. Does it start automatically when you select the usb drive in the BIOS?
