I always seem to run into this weird problem. Used CC cloner to clone my copy of El Capitan. Then copied efi folder to hidden partition same as original. But it never boots from the clone. just a blinking curser, doesn get to clover boot loader.
The way ive fixed past clones is using multibeast just adding the boot loader part. However sometimes it can go wrong.
I cant work it out, its exactly the same, so logicaly copying the efi file to the cloned partition should make it boot. Ive even edited the plist so the boot volume states the name of the clone. Still no joy. What am I missing?
