Hi!

I have a problem with a computer I built over a year ago.
After turning on I'm getting just the system choosing screen, which should automatically load the system, but it's stuck. It shows only information: Darwin/x86 boot v5.0.132Chameleon v2.2svn r2378

After pressing few times enter I get:

Memory allocation error! Addr: 0x0, Size: 0x2550000, File drivers.c, Line 878
This is a non recoverable error! System HALTED!!!

Normally I'd just format and reinstall, but there is few files that I'd like to get back :)

What is the problem? How do I solve this?

Thank you in advance!

Try pulling the RAM modules and resetting them, then run MEMTEST to make sure the modules are all good.

What do you mean by resetting them?

BTW: it's 4x 8GB sticks. I tried using just one, still no luck.

I ran the test on one stick and it showed no errors, but the system won't load...
