Stock up on RAM while prices are this low. The manufacturers always come up with some excuse to raise prices after they are at their lowest point for a longer period of time. The reason they give for large price hikes is either a flood or fire at one of the factories. Since all factories aren't affected, I'm not sure how they justify raising prices across the board for inventory produced at the un-damaged factories.
These are the big 3 DRAM makers in the world by annual revenue. If any incident happens to one of them, they will all raise prices.
RAM has no expiration date so it's pretty much risk free to buy now even if you don't need it today. Just make sure to test it right after you receive it.
