That's interesting...
As you already got it, I'd add to it a $15 Scythe Slipstream SY1225SL12M ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835185058&cm_re=slipstream-_-35-185-058-_-Product ) to solve the noise (achieving a similar, but lower, thermal performance), at the same price point.
That would be an OK deal, as you get a spare CoolerMaster Fan ;)

Another alternative to try to compensate the poorer thermal performance of the 212 would be adding a $33 Noctua NF-P14 ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608017&cm_re=nf-p14-_-35-608-017-_-Product ), however, at this price, not sure it's worth it...

Actually, if you truly recommend the Mugen 2 Revision B (is this it? nowhere does it say Mugen 2 or Revision B):
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835185142

I will purchase it if it's a good price at $35. Money isn't too much a problem for me.

Didn't you buy the 212Plus @ 20$ ?

Hmm, I'll take it that $15 off is pretty good.. I think I'll buy it then!

Yeah, but hearing so much about the Mugen 2, I'm getting a bit of buyer's remorse. Don't worry, I'll pass it on to a friend who is also building his own rig (he's using the stock intel cooler).

:D Sorry about the remorse...
Anyway, this sounds like a Win-Win situation...
Friends don't let friends use stock coolers :p

I quote you on that!
No problem about the remorse, it's computer stuff, everyone gets it now or later.
Wow we sound like super-geeks now :geek: in that good, warm-fuzzy-feeling-in-you way.
