Hi,

since this is my first hackintosh system there are a few unanswered questions which were not covered by the mountain lion installation tutorial. I installed mountain lion and would like to use Final Cut Pro X, because my Macbook Air seems to be too slow to create videos.

First fyi my system specs:
- Mainboard: Gigabyte X58-UD5 (Bios FF1)
- CPU: intel Core i7 950 (1366 socket)
- RAM: 8 GB DDR3 1600Mhz
- SSD: 64 GB Crucial C300
- graphic card: Zotac Nvidia Geforce 580 GTX 3GB RAM

So after mountain lion installation I used unibeast to install the appropiate drivers: I placed the latest .aml file for my mainboard on my desktop (v F7; Ff1 is not available), checked "USERDSDT or DSDT-Free Installation", chose the ACL889 audio driver and Ln2xMac LAN driver.

Here are my questions:
- Should I install more drivers and which ones? (I'm asking due to my Geforce 580 > 3 GB RAM)
- USB 3.0 does not work with the provided drivers in multibeast. What should I do?
- My Blu Ray Samsung drive checks about every 15 minutes if a disc is inserted (at least I can hear it tries to read even when no disc is inserted). How can I solve this?

I would be very happy if you could help me out (thanks in advance for your help). And I'm thankful for this very good community and hackintosh project! Keep the good work up!

Updated status:
1) My samsung drive doesn't spin anymore (disabled UEFI CD/DVD function in bios).
2) Neither the >3 GB Fermi nor normal 580 driver in MultiBeast helped to get my 580 (with 3 GB) to work! OpenCL didn't work in LuxMark.
But I found a solution: http://**********.wordpress.com/os-x-10-8-mountain-lion/
Maybe this should be implemented into next MultiBeast.

Still left: USB 3.0.
