I need a replacement for my iMac 2011.
I wanna to buy a good config that last me for a while.
I wish for 6 cores, SSD (M.2), 32 GB Ram and a video card to drive 1 monitor or tv 4k 32-50"
With the recents releases of Intel, I wonder wich mobo will be more stable long term. Also, if go with NVIDIA or AMD for the graphic card (I rarely do games).
I read https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/music-production-which-x99-for-a-new-build.233744/ and the attached setups, and the builds look complicated. I can do them (the first setup is not the problem) but with updates on OSX is rare to have issues? I need to build iOS apps so need to stay current.
