Hi guys, at the end of my rope here so any and all help would be appreciated (also posted in one of the NVIDIA threads about this one as well)
Running a Mac Pro Mid 2010 with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 2048 MB. Worked well in El Cap, but on updating to Sierra I can't get the NVIDIA web drivers to hold. Every time I restart it just reverts back to the OSX default driver.
Now Ive been wrapping my head around Clover and the steps I will need to take to have the NVIDIA drivers work correctly, but Im hitting a major roadblock. No matter what I do, I cant get the Clover bootloader to install. Have tried the latest versions as well as the 6 previous and each time it tells me it isnt compatible and when I install anyway, it fails.

Everything I can find tells me I need to have Clover to get the card to work and while Ive been able to install the configurator (http://imgur.com/a/2gCUn), Im unable to see anything in the mounted EFI, I suspect because the bootloader hasnt installed.
Im running Sierra off a PCI Mounted Excelsior 256GB SSD, with 2 Sata drives connected for media etc. Its all been working fine so I really cant figure out why I keep getting the failure and am wondering if it has something to do with the Excelsior SSD that my OS is on.
Any and all clues are very very appreciated. Really dont want to have to revert back to El Cap if there is some way for me to get this damn thing working with Sierra. If clover only installs on a system set up through the Unibeast method of installing an OS (https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...ierra-on-any-supported-intel-based-pc.200564/) then that would explain a lot, but just looking to get any insight before I spend any more time wiping the OS and starting again.
Cheers
Dave
