The popping sound . It has to do with how the MacOS puts the sound driver to sleep and then when it wakes up, there is a current surge.

antipop-1.0.2 solves the problem.

Clover other solutions..?

I have never had this 'popping' issue on any of my hacks or macs using chimera or clover so not sure why u need an app for that. That app constantly pings the audio device which in my opinion is bad and unnecessary.

Are you trying to ask if there are others solution to this as your English seems a bit rusty and hard to understand what your really saying.

I'm currently using AntiPop after scurrying the forums to find out why my GA Board (Z77X-UD5H) would have a sound delay on all profiles other than MacPro 3,1 or MacPro 5,1. It turns out instead of a pop I get a 2-3 second delay after some time of there not being sound played out of my speakers. I don't know why this is not an issue in the Mac Pro profiles but as soon as I change to iMac or Mac Mini profiles this issue comes up. I wanted to stick with the Macmini profile for speed step and power management reasons so I installed http://www.tomsick.net/projects/antipop.html and now I no longer experience this delay. Hopefully other frustrated users will be able to find this and make use of it.

Thanks for the tip about "Anti-Pop". I have never experienced this problem before on my hack but since upgrading to 'El Cap" and clover its been an annoying but intermittent issue. This tiny app has fixed it completely so thanks again. http://www.tomsick.net/projects/antipop.html

I've been using the original antipop for years, with total satisfaction, but checking the link above, I've found there's a variant, lighter on the system.
I put the direct link here, in case tomsick.net would disappear someday: https://github.com/mttrb/antipopd
