CIV 5 wont load - steam :(

Hey there, i have bought civ 5 and downloaded with steam but when i try to load it, it just do nothing... just hangs there for ages.

spec:
SL 10.6.7
Chameleon
GA-EX58-Extreme
Intel Core i7 920
6gb ram
Saphire ATI HD6850 1gb

Can anyone help pls?
is there any information i can give to help you help me?

I bet it has less to do with your hackintosh than it does with how buggy Civ 5 on the Mac has been-- steam or otherwise. Check out the Steam forums... filled with irritated Mac users trying to load Civ 5.

Hopefully someone has a better answer than that. I think your best bet-- since you've got a hackintosh-- is to install a cheap SATA drive with Win7 and use that for Civ 5 and other games (last I remembered, Civ 5 on Steam gives you access to both Mac and Win versions).
