chimera on CD wont boot?

I somehow deleted my chimera when I repartitioned and cloned so now I'm just trying to get into a lion installation I have to reinstall chimera. I'm using the latest iboot/chimera and when selecting my lion install at the menu when booting from CD it goes to the grey apple screen for a few seconds then the computer restarts. Do I need to go back to 4gb ram? is there some parameter I need to boot with at the chimera screen?

meh, gave up, switched to an old gtx260 video card, used iboot nvidia from a year ago, and am installing snow leopard from the original dvd, just to get to the desktop so I can use multibeast and reinstall chimera. Hopefully that works.
