[Solved] Can't boot installer

Hi Folks

Followed this guide to the letter, to create OSX High Sierra boot USB.

When I start the PC, I hit F8, then choose the USB to boot from.

The screen goes black, an underscrore flashes half a dozen times then goes into BIOS.

Any ideas how to fix the issue?

Ah, thanks BreBo! I've added those details into my profile.

I finally managed to get the system to boot, yay! Just working out drivers to get sound, screen resolution, WiFi and ethernet working.....
