Salutations! This will be my first hackintosh build and I have a few questions to ask before I go ahead and order my parts. My budget for hardware is $450. I am planning to use the computer mainly for music applications like Reason and Logic. I might do some light gaming as well. What would be the best alterations to the build be for my money? Also I need working wifi. Suggestions? One more thing, I usually leave my computer on 24/7 will there be heat problems with this build?
Here's what I'm looking at right now:
CPU: Intel Core i3-2105 with Intel HD 3000 Graphics (I might want an i5)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H67N-USB3-B3
RAM: CORSAIR 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3
Case + Power Supply Unit: APEX MI-008 Mini-ITX with 250w PSU
Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 1 TB SATA 6Gb/s
