I try to install catalina, after the installation, it restarts, and I can't find the m2 ssd of MacOS anymore. it shows in Bios, but not in boot list.

My hardware list:
Intel SSD for Windows 10
MSI Z590 ace MB
WD SN750 1T Mvme (plug into M2_2 Slot) for MacOS
Gigabyte 5700xt
i9 10900K

Here is the issue,
  1. This is right: "I assume you had a USB installer with a working OpenCore EFI when installing macOS Catalina on your Comet Lake system. 【I am not sure if it is "working OpenCore EFI", because if I use the EFI that I create, then I can't even go to apple installation mode, so the EFI is from this post by@ stiligFox】
  2. It goes into apple installation mode.
  3. I use disk utility to erase the m2 mvme.
  4. then choose install Catalina
  5. select M2 mvme for installation
  6. it shows 3 minutes to finish.
  7. then about 3 minutes later, it just shut down and restart.
  8. and.. it goes back to the "apple installation mode" again.
  9. then, I go to check the BIOS, the boot option is only windows SSD, no M2 Mvme.

I assume you had a USB installer with a working OpenCore EFI when installing macOS Catalina on your Comet Lake system.

That being the case:
  1. Have you booted from the USB into macOS Catalina and used an EFI mount app (Hackintool or Corpnewt's Mount EFI or similar)
  2. Mounted the USB EFI Partition,
  3. Mounted the macOS drive's EFI Partition, and
  4. Copied the Working OpenCore EFI folder to the macOS drives EFI Partition.
  5. Ejected the USB drive and EFI Partition
  6. Rebooted your system
  7. Entered your system Bios and selected the macOS UEFI partition as your default boot drive, so OpenCore is used to boot any OS installed in your system.
If not, then your macOS Drive won't boot without the USB.

Hi Edhawk,
Thanks for your reply. I am sorry I didn't make my issue detailed. I'll re-edit my post.

So, I have no way to boot into MacOS.
