I bought a USB Cam/Mic to use with my hackintosh and while the video is working fine, the audio input is not.
If I look at the Input level in System Preferences > Sound > Input, it is wildly fluctuating even when the room is silent. If I record my voice, there is a lot of static, my voice is extremely faint and the pitch is way off.
I have tested this USB Cam/Mic on my genuine MacBook Pro and it works fine, but not with my hackintosh.
My system info:
Clover boot-loader
GA-Z77 DS3H Motherboard
Using the ALC887/888b kext, injected via Clover (Audio Id: 1 in clover.plist)
If there's anything else I can provide, let me know. Thanks for any help!
