Backlit keyboard and mouse stays lit after shutting down from MacOS High Sierra

Hello,

I am wondering if there is a setting or fix for switching off backlit keyboard and mouse when shutting down from MacOS. At the moment it only switches off after shutting down from Windows 10 because I have changed a setting in the BIOS.. but doesn't affect the MacOS. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Specs:
ASUS H81-Gamer Motherboard
i7 4770k 4Ghz
16GB 1333MHz DDR3 RAM
AMD Radeon HD 7970 3 GB

I take it both are wired if they are it means the USB ports are still powered even though the machine has powered off, my setup is like that sometimes where the power is still latent but mine goes off after a minute or so. Maybe you need to patch your USB ports configuration.
