Hi all,

I have Mountain Lion booting up and running without any major issues. The only problem I'm currently trying to solve is to play audio from the GTX 680 HDMI.

I tried to follow the guide from https://github.com/toleda/audio_hdmi_hd4000 but I couldn't compile my DSDT file that I got by creating a new file from ACPI/DSDT. I wonder if the problem is caused by me installing ML first and then patching the BIOS (http://bios.zmac.net/asus/P8Z77-V-ASUS-1805_modified.zip)?

I've attached my IOReg and DSTL.dsl files. The DSTL.dsl was generated by MaciASL/File/New from ACPI/DSDT and then patched "AMI-EFI/Clean Compile" followed by "AMI-HD4000-7_Series-A3" which I sourced from https://raw.github.com/toleda/audio_hdmi_hd4000/master.

The errors/warnings I get are:
Code:
Line Code Message
4641 1099 Unknown reserved name (_WDG)
11012 4065 Object not found or not accessible from scope (_SB.PCI0.PEG0)
11012 4089 Forward references from Scope operator not allowed (_SB.PCI0.PEG0)

11393 1099 Unknown reserved name (_WDG)
11393 1099 Unknown reserved name (_WDG)
11393 1099 Unknown reserved name (_WDG)

I would much appreciate any help.

Thanks a lot! That solved it. I ignored all the warnings and it almost worked fine. After I used MultiBeast to install dsdt and audio drivers the system didn't want to start up - I was getting a blank white screen after the system loaded.

After that I simply copied over the files from the backup up Extra and Extensions folder and it all worked, including HDMI! Note I didn't remove the folder I simply overwritten everything that was in Extra and Extensions.

Once again. Thanks a lot.
