Brown is Live, Blue is neutral.

Don't take that for certain. It depends in which country you leave and what type of power cord you use. As there are power cords that can be plugged in on both ways and means the blue cable can be "Live".
And because this is an international forum, the advices must be given by taking this on mind.
People can be fry themselves or can be killed!
