ATI + AnVAL = Black Screen & 100% GPU fan

So I asked in another thread but didn't get a response. Is this problem we're having with slow 64-bit related to us using a hacked Kernel, which will be resolved once we're using the stock Kernel when Apple adds SB support, or is this another problem?

It's an architecture timing issue, hence using busratio 29 makes the system clock go faster. Vanilla SB support will stop this, and we'll be off and running.

Same Issue on My ATI HD 4650!

I appreciatde if the Framebuffer of 10029498 is changed to Eulemur, not Motmot.

I stuck after *Device is slot -- SLOT1 **

It will hang if GraphicsEnabler set to yes

Got mine working by installing Chameleon RC5 r750, then the ATI Package (here).

The package is the newest ATI driver from MacbookPro 2011, with Mobility support =]
