anandtech interviews Asus, about 26min 15sec in they talk TB, apparently will work w/ Thunderbolt Displays... quite pleased, as i own two of 'em

It will... but we don't know at this point if OSX will support a 3rd party thunderbolt controller.

sure, but for me, just knowing there is validation on the thunderbolt displays and i'm not entirely locked into mac hardware is encouraging (since i already own them), even if it's not running os x. am still somewhat optimistic that there will be a hack thunderbolt solution.
