I am using the Asus TUF z390m gaming WIFI, which im assuming is almost identical to yours. Im running 2808 as well. what part of the process are you stuck at?

If the new Z490 TUF is identical to the Z390 TUF I'll go for it, because I'm satisfied with mine Z390, but is only my opinion...

Well I don't have a a fully tested OpenCore config for you for that board, but you might as well go 10th gen at this point.
