I got a new graphics card and can not get it to work. Don't know how to proceed

I Have a Mac Pro 2.1 running El Capitan with 12GB RAM.
How to flash the card or install drivers so it loads - at the moment just black screen

There are lots of threads that discuss using PC graphics cards on Mac Pros. Since the 270 is an older card, you may have to search in that forum section. BTW, I have PC 280X flashed by MacVidCards in my 2010 Mac Pro.
