I have tried. And for now it seems to be stable. But I wouldn't recommend it. I will wait for 10.9 and then post an updated guide.
Since you are here, I suppose you also have this Motherboard, can you give us a little feedback on how this guide worked for you?

WELL i followed your guide on snow leopard it was cool am now on 10.6.8, its 98% stable apart from sleep of which i dont need lol
i had kp at first but i edited voodoohda with sound card vender id,now i want to upgrade to mountain lion 10.8.2,its stable with logic pro 9,10.8.0 is laggy, dats why am back seeking for your help lol
i have nvidia geforce 210 512mb vram it works out of box with graphicsenabler =yes
