Anyone with a Pny 9800 GTX+ 512MB card willing to help?

Update.....

Ran multibeast again and chose

Easy beast
System utility
64 bit boot
Nvenaber
PCIRootUID fix
And rebooted with -x

Voila! works fine in safe mode. But no QE but it's working. I can change different res. Got excited and restarted with just -v. Got nothing but a black screen. WTF?

So then I deleted nvenabler from /extra. Rebooted with -v. Black screen again. Rebooted with -x and to my surprise it's working. -_-

What should I do?

I found this post http://aquamac.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=hack1&action=display&thread=509&page=1 that describes directly injecting your device into the com.apple.boot.plist ONLY and not enabling GraphicsEnabler (following advice of aquamac on page 39).

Am doing a fresh install with trying this in mind:

1)Easy beast.
2)Inject device-properties + disable GraphicsEnabler
3)Run permissions fix from multibeast.

Profit.

Will see what happens.

I am the biggest fool.

My setup: DVI->HDMI (from all accounts that I have read, this is impossible).
Switched to DVI->DVI on a different monitor... works.

GraphicsEnabler=Yes, no NVEnabler, no special EFI String.

really? **** my monitor does not have a DVI port. I would plug it through an HDMI>DVI plug.

are you on 10.6.6? with the PNY VERTO 9800GTX+?
