I have audio fully working with usb devices / bluetooth but my Thunderbolt Display does not output any sound at all. I've tried all the suggested layouts for my codec so I'm starting to believe that audio is not being passed along via thunderbolt. Has anyone managed to get this working at all?

I'm using the Alpine Ridge card v1.0 plugged into the thunderbolt header on the motherboard. Display driven by the 6600 xt

In case anyone finds this post and has the same problem. It seems Ventura has dropped support for the pcie controller that facilitates the display with a comment in the opencore guide saying alpine ridge isn’t fully working anymore. The best I could do was get the display working with no sound. I think a custom patch/config would be needed. Haven’t tried installing Monterey but I had it fully working on a Z590/Z690 but not the B760. I don’t know whether Mac OS or my opencore files broke it first. I have decided to just sell the display and move on
