I think I finally got a decent workable setup with my laptop but need some help getting the Ultraslim dock mapped out and fully working (audio and Displayport, really.) The Thunderbolt hub is working but doesn't charge the laptop while the Ultraslim dock does. I've spent hours and hours at this and at the end of my skillset and knowledge trying to map the dock out.

What works:
* Sleep
* FHD display on Intel UHD 620
* Bluetooth (Intel AX200)
* WiFi (itlwm, but then BT seems wonky)
* On-board audio (speaker and headphone jack, hot swap ok!)
* On-board Ethernet
* On-board USB 2.0 and 3.0
* On-board USB Type-C Thunderbolt (Hackintool reports 10Gbps)
* Thunderbolt hub DisplayPort ([email protected] I don't have anything 4k), USB 2.0, 3.0 and Type-C, Gig-E (unsure about TB display output). Display will not work during boot up (ie. Apple logo/verbose logging) but will turn on for at the login screen.
* Thunderbolt hub top power button (hold down 2 sec, will ask if you want to sleep, restart or shutdown)
* Ultraslim dock hot plugging
* Ultraslim dock audio (in and out) (not working as of OC 0.9.0, not sure why)
* Ultraslim dock Ethernet
* Ultraslim dock USB 2.0 and 3.0

What doesn't:
* Trackpad physical buttons
* Trackpoint pointer mouse
* laptop HDMI output
* Ultraslim dock and Thunderbolt hub hot-plug display in clamshell mode (if you boot with the lid closed, internal LCD will not turn on if you unplug the hub or dock (eg. Disconnect to work away from your desk) but will turn back on if you plug the hub or dock in again.
* Thunderbolt hub DisplayPort audio (my Dell screen complains about not being PCM audio.)

* Narrow down RTC write issues. Right now down to 30-35.

Updated to OpenCore 0.9.0 on Ventura 13.1. Stable with quirks in OP. It's pretty much my daily driver now.

You'll need to change in config.plist your own NVRAM > SystemSerialNumber and SystemUUID (both strings are CHANGEME)

Attached zip is my EFI. I did delete my HP and Microsoft directories however.

I cannot manage to get the webcam and mic work?

My internal webcam works perfectly but microphone does not. Make sure your USB map is setup correctly and as stupid as it sounds - make sure the sliding cover is not over the lens. lol.

Hi guys,

Have you found a solution to make the HP Ultraslim 2013 Docking Station work since the time ?
I use it a lot positioned on the dock and screen closed with 2 external screens.

I have 2 hackintosh to my credit, I am tempted to separate myself from Windows on the 840 G6 !

Any solution for the mic ?

Edit : MacOS isnt compatible with DisplayPort Multi-Stream Transport ! I will rather look at the side of the 34 inch screen, with maybe a 19 inch on VGA

I had a similar problem using someone else's EFI that I downloaded. That's when I decided to build my own, following the instructions. Don't watch random Youtube videos - lots are outdated and will confuse you even more. Dedicate a few uninterrupted hours and follow step by step, no shortcuts. I've literally listed all the components I used down to the version number and if there are any issues, it'll be fairly evident in the creation process where it is (ie. old or wrong kexts, etc.)
