old macbook

So I am new to this site and this kind of stuff, but love to tinker. I have a macbook a1181 mid 2009 that is fully functional. I am wondering if I can use this to parts to make a Mac mini? Am I able to upgrade the USB ports to USB 3.0 by chance? Or even add HDMI? Any advice would be great...
