I have managed to install Snow Leopard on my Lenovo Ideapad Y570 with 2nd generation i7-2670QM CPU. When I try to boot after the legacy iBoot cd I get a blank screen. If I use the GraphicsEnabler=No I get a Kernel Panic crash which looks nasty.

What can I do from here?

Did you try the Verbose Mode?
At which point do the Kernel Panic occur?

Somewhere I read 3rd generation i core doesn't work with SL.
Maybe there are also some issues with the 2nd generation.

Try this device-properties string in your /Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist:

Code:
	<key>device-properties</key>
	<string>600000000100000001000000540000000100000002010c00d041030a000000000101060000027fff04001e0000004100410050004c002c006f0073002d0069006e0066006f0000001800000030490111111108000001f01f0100000010070000</string>

Thanks RehabMan for the reply. I have made progress and got the laptop with Snow Leopard updated. I can boot from the HDD but only in safe mode and with GraphicsEnabler=N. This is my is my first Hackintosh. I used EasyBeast and not edited DSDT.

How do I get the Intel HD3000 graphics to work or even better still the NVIDIA GF555 graphics card to work?

How do I get the Track pad and Keyboard to work so I don't have to boot up in Safe mode?

Lastly, how do I get the wired Broadcom gigabit ethernet to work so that I can purchase Mountain Lion?

There seems to be a lot about the Wireless connection but nothing about the wired connection.

Will I have to buy a micro USB wireless adapter?

With the device properties and GraphicsEnabler=Y you might be able to get HD3000 to work. But you have to disable the nvidia. It may be causing you problems.

You would need to load PS/2 drivers. I'm not sure what PS/2 has to do with safe mode though?

You would need to look for kexts for your broadcom model, if it is supported at all.

There are some ethernet drivers in Multibeast. You would need to research if they will support your ethernet device.

Will I have to buy a micro USB wireless adapter?

That's always an option...
