I have a HIS HD 5770 running on a Asus P8P67 le mobo. I Installed the ATI kexts from MultiBeast 3.0.2.

After OSX boots up, I have a black/blank screen. I have to unplug and plug my monitor back in the display port to my 30" Cinema Display (2560x1600) working.

I do not have this issue when I was running my smaller 1200x800 display.

Any ideas? Should I have not installed the ATI kexts?

Try this it works for me: Add this to com.apple.boot.plist in /Extra

<key>AtiConfig</key>
<string>Duckweed</string>
<key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>2560x1600x32</string>

Good luck,

I have to use Zonalis instead of Duckweed with my 5870 when I run in dual mode (30" on display port and 22" on DVI) with Graphics Mode @ 1400x1050x32 as the graphics card can't handle a resolution in vesa mode that works for both.

What you have to do is type ?video at the boot prompt to check which Vesa modes your video card support, then add a resolution you want in your Graphics Mode section. This is independent of what you set in OSX so don't worry about putting in a lower value. It just stops the monitor from going to sleep.
