hi i havw windows 8.1 on my laptop i partitiond the hard drive and install mavericks in CSM boot mode using umibeast when i enable uefi boot mode, the laptop boots straight to windows 8.1. i was hoping i coukd get an option to choose between the two

Chimera/Chameleon cannot boot your UEFI Win8.1, but Clover can... so does that mean i reinstall mavericks using clover instead of unibeast?

thanks for the quick reply. But i have only one harddrive so i installed mavericks on one partition of the hard drive, while windows 8.1 is on the other partition of the same hard drive. do you think that is the problem?

Hi again i was able too re-install mavericks. But it only boots successfully in safe mode. and when i change my bios mode to UEFI, my laptop boots to windows 8.1, it does not give me option to select mavericks or windows (i used CSM boot while installing mavericks)

RehabMan Please is there any boot flag i can use to by pass this kernel panic or unless i do a new installation
