I have the same build (but with a GTX 760 2gb card) and the same issue - won't wake from sleep and I must hard reset.
Here's my MultiBeast config:
Quick Start > DSDT Free
Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > Without DSDT > ALC892Drivers > Audio >...
I've got the same issue (though different MB). For me when I click Compile I get errors and I suspect that is why the Patch button does nothing. I'm yet to find an answer for how to resolve these errors ...
I haven't had time to fix up those issues. I've left my settings to never sleep, and haven't needed to use HDMI since my last post (though I will soon). This seems to be the fix for HMDI audio, so can't be too hard.
So far the whole experience has been a lot less painful than I was expecting...
I've taken the plunge and couldn't be happier. Overall in the install/setup process was quite simple, and I haven't really encountered any bit problems. I still need to get HDMI audio working, but there seem to be good guides for that.... And I have had issues waking from sleep, so I'll have to...
It sounds like a hack with the right parts is relatively reliable and easy to maintain then. My selected parts are pretty much what's recommended, so I think I'm prepared to jump in the deep end here and have go.
