Mavericks OSX Black screen on Boot
I had an 8800 GT (same G92 chipset as the 9800). Ran into the same exact problem as you. Perhaps Mavericks removed the G92 drivers? Went to Fry's and bought a 650 TI Boost. Works like a charm.- iucoen
