Typed the code into terminal for time machine access but when the "Select a Backup Source" comes up with my Time Machine backup location I lose my keyboard and mouse functions and I'm stuck there!
Do I go out and buy a simple USB corded mouse and plug that in? Scratching my head!
Why have the...
From another point of view, if I set up EasyBcd to boot Yosemite via EFI (default) I get "Can't find mach_kernel" but if I set it to boot via MBR I get "boot0:error", so having thought this over I have an interesting document which could relate to the fact that my original 1 TB Seagate HDD was...
My gut feeling is that there is a file or setting left over in windows 7's root or MBR that relates to the old "mach_kernel" in Mavericks and previous versions of Hackintosh that is not being over-written by running Multibeast/Unibeast or separate Chimera or Chameleon installs.
It once was...

My problem appears to lie buried somewhere in a root file on Windows 7 as I did see mention of Mavericks in one of the MBR related files thus forcing the boot to look for mach_kernel rather than the new changed "kernel".
And here is my org.chameleon.Boot.plist from USB key.

Hello,
Herein lies my problem.
I have a Dell Inspiron One 2310 All in One Computer with all standard spec’s Apart from a replacement 1 TB HDD and 8 GB DDR3 Ram rather than the 4 GB that it originally came with.
I have successfully ran most versions of OSX 86 Hackintosh and they all booted well...
rename /system/library/kernels/kernel in /system/library/kernels/mach_kernel
This is bull****. Yosemite specifically looks for "kernel" not "mach_kernel"
<key>Kernel</key>
<string>mach_kernel</string>
My org.chameleon.Boot.plist does not have those lines in there either.
When attempting to boot Yosemite direct without Unibeast USB key and getting "Can't find mach_kernel" it shows the boot loader to to be a 2009 copy of Darwin but when...
G'day forum members,
I took the jump to upgrade from a perfectly solid working install of OSX86 10.9.4 Mavericks to a Unibeast 8GB USB install of 10.10.1 Yosemite.
I can boot easily into the HDD install while booting from the USB key but when I try to boot direct without the USB I get "Can't...
