I redid the computer. I think forcetrim corrupted the drive. Now it cuts in and out for OS sounds too. Aggregate auto, when tested, plays white noise in each speaker.

Same problem here. Doing an install from the flash drive over top of what I have lets it boot as if there was no problem, but if I remove the stick or try to boot without doing that install over (which looks like its trying to resume installing rather than actually erasing and starting over)...
I tried creating an aggregate audio device, and I set the system to output to that, but now I can't control volume.
EDIT: it didn't help. Playing zandronum, audio cut in and out every other second. After leaving, it was fine, until I tried to reboot and I couldn't get past the loading bar.
