<< Solved >> Mojave registry not seeing USB 3 ports at all

Looks like that did it! Thank you! Cleared out the earlier patch, removed USBInjectAll.kext from my boot drive's EFI, got rid of the boot flags, and rebooted. All my ports came up in Hackintool (actually opened it to go look for port numbers to build the SSDT) but so far, all the ports are...

<< Solved >> Mojave registry not seeing USB 3 ports at all

Okay so I am still running into the same problem; I add the boot flags to exclude the HS ports (-uia_exclude_hs), but they all still show up after the reboot. The flags look like they're in my config.plist correctly, but maybe I'm doing something wrong? I've attached it just in case.

<< Solved >> Mojave registry not seeing USB 3 ports at all

@UtterDisbelief, interestingly enough, I've had a little progress just as you were typing your response. I finally got the 10.14.4 Port Limit Removal Patches installer correctly using Clover Configurator. I was actually seeing more ports in Hackintool without USBInjectAll.kext installed, but...

<< Solved >> Mojave registry not seeing USB 3 ports at all

I've been doing lots of homework on these threads regarding the port limit removal tools and creating a custom SSDT in order to have USB 3.0 ports behave correctly in Mojave, but one thing that keeps coming up is confounding me. Using IORegistryExplorer, one should supposedly be able to at...

<< Solved >> Multiple Issues, Mojave 10.14.4, starting with bootloader

Okay, another update, with success. Copied the config.plist file from my Mojave Unibeast flash drive to the EFI partition on my SSD, and now bootup and restart works just fine. Will probably tackle my USB 3.0 issues in a separate post, after trying to work on the SSDT thing again.

<< Solved >> Multiple Issues, Mojave 10.14.4, starting with bootloader

Minor update: updated the version of Clover on the SSD to match the later version on my Unibeast USB stick. It didn't fix anything, but now my bootloader screens look the same. Verbose boot still results in the same screen.

<< Solved >> Multiple Issues, Mojave 10.14.4, starting with bootloader

NOTE: Graphics card listed in hardware not currently installed. And my apologies on the backlit photos. So I have an install, kind of, done for Mojave 10.14.4, and I'm dealing with a number of issues, which I will address here one at a time. First off, I can't boot without my Unibeast USB...

[Closed] Stuck at "Prohibited" symbol - Z390 Gaming SLI / i7-9700K

I had no other drives connected, only the one SSD and the installer flash drive. I've decided to abandon my efforts to install High Sierra on this build, and go straight to Mojave instead.

[Closed] Stuck at "Prohibited" symbol - Z390 Gaming SLI / i7-9700K

Well that definitely made some progress, but not completely. The OsxAptioFix2Drv-free2000.efi allowed my system to see that flash drive, and I was able to format my SSD, and start the install. Upon reboot, I got the error message that "macOS could not be installed on your computer." "An error...

[Closed] Stuck at "Prohibited" symbol - Z390 Gaming SLI / i7-9700K

Here's my screenshot, seems to be something other than searching for the flash drive.

[Closed] Stuck at "Prohibited" symbol - Z390 Gaming SLI / i7-9700K

Finally managed to get Unibeast installed on my flash drive, but after the Clover screen, it displays the Apple symbol briefly, and then I'm getting stuck at the "Prohibited" (slash through circle) symbol. What else do you awesome folks need to know? First post here and my apologies if this has...
